Orlando Theme Park Military Discounts this Veteran's Day

Veteran’s Day is a time to honor and express gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed for our country. It’s easy to take our freedom for granted, but every year on November 11, we pause as a country to reflect upon the strength and determination of our veterans and everything they have given to keep us safe.  

To our United States veterans: we can only imagine the amount of sacrifice you and your families have made to protect our country. This Veteran’s Day, we hope you get to spend time with your loved ones, enjoy each other’s company, and make wonderful memories.

Walt Disney World 

Walt Disney World is an iconic destination for families, couples, and friends looking to fill their day with a little extra magic.  

Disney Military Salute Tickets save veterans and their families hundreds of dollars on 4, 5, and 6-day passes, all of which include the Park Hopper option that allows you access to multiple parks in a single day. You can also upgrade to the Park Hopper Plus option, which includes visits to a water park, golf course, or mini golf course.

Universal Orlando 

With the opening of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe on the horizon for 2025, there is plenty of buzz and excitement in the air.  

While it’s a little early to book tickets for Epic Universe, active duty, retired military service members, and spouses can still take advantage of their Military ticket and travel offers when visiting Universal’s other two theme parks, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Their 2024 Military Freedom Pass Promotional Ticket allows veteran guests to purchase up to six 2- or 3-Park tickets; the 3-Park tickets include access to Universal’s Volcano Bay water park, too! 

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld offers some of the best military discounts of all Orlando theme parks.  

Active Duty military members receive one complimentary admission per year for themself and up to three direct dependents through SeaWorld's Waves of Honor military salute program. Veterans and up to five guests can enjoy a 50% discount on a single day ticket. They also offer discounted military rates at their other park, Discovery Cove, where you can swim with dolphins, mingle with flamingos, and enjoy floating around a relaxing Lazy River.  

Other Orlando Military Discounts      

Theme parks aren’t the only destinations offering military discounts in Central Florida. Gatorland Orlando & Gatorland Orlando Zipline offer a free single-day admission for those with an active, valid military ID, and their families can receive 20% off single-day admission.  

Get up close with gators, wild cats, capybaras, and other unusual critters before ziplining high above the Alligator Breeding Marsh, home to 130 giant alligators!. 

There are more animals and wildlife to be explored a little further south, too. While it’s a bit more of a drive, Wild Florida is the place to go for exciting airboat rides, safari tours, sloth encounters, and other wildlife attractions. Military personnel receive 15% off airboat tours and 50% off admission to the Gator Park.
