Entertainment
In addition to the thrilling rides and jaw-dropping shows you can catch year-round at SeaWorld Orlando, there are a variety of exciting new holiday parades and performances to enjoy during the Christmas Celebration.
Mrs. Claus’ Magic Kitchen is a hilarious holiday cooking show the whole family will enjoy. Join Mrs. Claus as she attempts to share her famous Christmas cookie recipes on social media and navigate technology.
O Wondrous Night is a classic retelling of the Nativity, featuring 30 beloved carols, live animals, and life-size puppets. You may already know the story, but you’ve never seen it told quite like this.
Winter Wonderland on Ice is a Broadway-inspired ice-skating extravaganza. Dazzling world-class skaters bring a vibrant Christmas spectacular to life on an icy stage surrounded by sparkling trees and towering fountains.
There’s plenty of Christmas spirit making its way to Sesame Street this year, too. The Sesame Street Christmas Parade is an energetic celebration featuring ornately decorated floats, show-stopping performances, and all your favorite Sesame Street friends.
At the Seaport Theatre, you can join Elmo, Cookie Monster, Rosita, Grover, and Zoe as they help Elmo in Elmo's Christmas Wish. This show is perfect for families and will keep you singing and dancing along to catchy holiday tunes.
Big Bird’s Christmas Storytime gives families the chance to gather around Big Bird’s nest and listen to some of his favorite Christmas stories. On select days, Big Bird shares his favorite Chanukah stories, too.
The Holiday Reflections: Fireworks Finale is the perfect way to end a day of Christmas Celebration. This jaw-dropping fireworks display is choreographed to popular holiday songs, lighting up the night sky in bursts of Christmas cheer.
Activities
In addition to the parades and performances of SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration, there are plenty of new activities for you to explore and enjoy on your own.
Meet some of your favorite Christmas characters, including Santa Claus himself. Santa will be at Wild Arctic (where else?) with his North Pole animal friends. Grab a picture just in time for holiday card season.
Visit Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in Rudolph’s Christmas Town for an experience straight out of the beloved stop-motion movies of yesteryear. You’ll can have your photo taken with Rudolph and Bumble the Abominable Snowman as you wander through life-size storybook vignettes featuring the classic tale of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
There aren’t many places where you can enjoy snow and ice outdoors in Orlando, but SeaWorld happens to be one of them. Catch fleeting flurries at the Waterfront for a magical holiday experience, regardless of what the temperature might be.
Enjoy public ice skating in the winter wonderland along the central lagoon. Ice skating is an additional fee (including skate rental), and you must be wearing crew-length socks and gloves before you hit the ice.
Also along the lagoon is the Sea of Trees, a spectacular forest of lit trees that float on the water and sparkle after dark. You’ll be amazed at the colorful lights reflecting in the surface of the water as they dance along to musical holiday favorites.
Food and Drinks
Some people attend the Christmas Celebration for the shows, some come for the beautiful light displays and joyous music, and others know it’s all about the food.
Every year, SeaWorld Orlando rolls out extensive new menus featuring some of the most iconic flavors of the season, as well as some tasty new twists on holiday classics.
You can look forward to decadent sweets like warm and fluffy beignets, freshly baked deep-dish cookies, and sweet-and-spicy gingerbread cakes. There are several interpretations of hot cocoa and eggnog, both hot and frozen, to satisfy your Christmas cravings.
When your appetite’s as big as a whale, you can refuel with fun favorites like the Fa-La-La-La Truffle Fries dusted with parmesan and parsley, a turkey dinner complete with cornbread stuffing and cranberry sauce, and flavorful and festive waffles topped with everything from deep fried chicken and hot honey to barbecue pulled pork.
Guests 21+ can enjoy amazing cocktails like the refreshing and citrusy Christmas Spritz, made with Aperol, Prosecco, and orange juice. Hot spiced wine will warm your hands and your spirit on a cool day. Or, if the temps are spiking, opt for the Frost Bite: a frozen blend of Milagro tequila, blue curacao, and cream de cacao topped with whipped cream.
There’s plenty of opportunities to spike your hot cocoa and eggnog with jolly spirits like Kahlua, bourbon, and peppermint schnapps, too.
