Halloween is here, and SeaWorld Orlando is conjuring up fear with its annual Howl-O-Scream event.
Let your shrieks of terror and excitement fill the air and celebrate this spooky season with endless festivities at Howl-O-Scream 2024.
About Howl-O-Scream
Howl-O-Scream is SeaWorld Orlando’s terrifying take on Halloween. Celebrated annually, it takes place from early September to early November. This year, the scaring begins on September 6 and goes on until November 2, 2024.
Last year, Howl-O-Scream was dubbed 2023’s Best Halloween Theme Park Event by USA Today, and once you get a load of its thrilling haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, and performances, you’ll understand why.

Four new haunted houses are making their way to Howl-O-Scream this year at SeaWorld Orlando. Each one boasts a terrifyingly unique theme that promises goosebumps and a good time.
Farm 51 is one of SeaWorld’s newest haunted houses that transports you to an abandoned farmhouse in the middle of no man’s land on a dark, eerie night. You’re soon joined by whispers from surprise extraterrestrial visitors — and they do not come in peace!
Former fan-favorite D3LER1UM666 is a returning haunted house that shows the inside of a unique mercenary group’s headquarters. See how the group made to target the evil Sirens and other chilling sea creatures gets down — but trust that you’re not alone in these ventures.
Howl-O-Scream’s other haunted houses include Ultimate Gamble, Water’s Edge Wellness Center, and Atlantis Journey Below. Stay tuned for more gruesome details as SeaWorld Orlando continues to release new information.
The Spooky Scare Zones
As you venture around the park, you’ll find an array of hair-raising scare zones that keep the thrills alive all night long. Only the creepiest of creatures lurk about, and there are endless places to find them.
Seeds of the Coven is a new scare zone that blends nature and nightmare as witches and their ominous creations hunt you down to make you a part of their harvest.
Returning for another year of fright is the Blood Light District scare zone, which crawls with street heathens that beckon you with their beauty and bloodlust.
Toxic Turmoil is a catastrophic chemical landfill laden with mutated humans, creatures, and even plant life that yearn for your demise.
Brave the ruins of the treasure-filled sunken village: Terrors of the Deep. But be careful; these waters are overrun with cursed pirates that don’t take kindly to landlubbers after their treasure.

CarnEvil Pier brings a carnival gone mad with demented clowns that are far from friendly. Have fun — if you dare — and play the carnival games. Try not to lose your soul to the pier!
Inside these scare zones are a variety of interactive bars where you can sip and scream to your heart’s content. You can stop by Space Gate 3, Sacrificial Spirits, Tormented, Longshoremen Tavern, and CarnEvil Curiosities.
